This is one of the most spartan designs I've ever come up with (and one of the few on this site that was made in Adobe Illustrator). Sometimes it's nice to do something clean and crisp to offset all the glossy things. I replaced the original image that was in this slot (Equinox Lighthouse) with this because I think the design is much stronger...even if the thumbnail for this image stands out on the overview page.
