This effects started out as a feather / polar coordinates test and eventually made its way into an eyeball. I don't have much use for eyeballs, though, and the initial effect looked much cooler than what it turned into. I like the way the texture is very organic and glossy at the same time...not something I see very often. Maybe I just need to get out more.
